Who I am

Frontend engineer. Therapist-in-training. Recovering perfectionist.

Recovering perfectionist. Frontend engineer. Therapist-in-training.

I'm Alex, a Principal Frontend Engineer with over 16 years in tech, currently pursuing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while working full-time and raising a young daughter. I write about tech culture, mental health in high-stress careers, and what it's like to juggle multiple demanding identities at once. Living proof that you can be successful and still completely burned out, and that understanding why matters.

Here's what I'm up to now.
